Osh State University joined the consortium with DEVX IT-SCHOOL
Along with Osh State University, this consortium includes 6 more universities of the country.
On July 12, the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Beishenaliev, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States Bakytbek Amanbaev, the representative of the US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan Sonata Coulter, the director of the High-Tech Park Chubak Temirov, the chairman of the Association of Software and Services Developers Andrey Gurinov and rectors of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in an online meeting for the consortium.
“The government will take special measures to make Kyrgyzstan's IT industry one of its key focuses. The development of the IT industry and the study of foreign languages would be given emphasis in the educational system. The Ministry of Education and Science's implementation of these initiatives won't involve any bureaucracy” Minister Almazbek Beishenaliev noted.
