On September 8th in Bishkek, the Institute for Youth Development, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration, organized an informational meeting as part of the “Aikol Koom” project. The meeting was attended by S.N. Amiraliyev, the head of the Department for Work with Foreign Citizens and Consular Services at Osh State University, N. Arziev, the head of the Security Service Department, and T.R. Payzildaev, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Medicine.
The purpose of the meeting was to integrate foreign students studying in educational institutions in the cities of Bishkek and Osh into the socio-cultural, socio-economic, and civic life of Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, the meeting emphasized the need to create conditions to prevent foreigners from encountering life difficulties in Kyrgyzstan, strengthen their solidarity with the locals and discussed the working plan developed by the Institute for Youth Development.
Employees of Osh State University, in collaboration with the staff of the mentioned institute, made suggestions to organize several cultural and sports events for foreign students in the coming days. The goal is to involve them in the city`s community activities and ensure their safety.
