Today, on October 5th, in honor of Osh City Day, an opening ceremony took place for the educational and laboratory building of the Medical Faculty at Osh State University. The event was attended by deputy mayors led by the mayor of Osh, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, rector, Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, the faculty, and students.

“Osh State University, which is one of the leading educational institutions in our country and a center for culture, art, and education, makes a significant contribution to the improvement, greening, and social development of the city. The university not only provides education but also addresses the issues of Osh City, playing a key role in its economic development. As an example, it is worth noting that Osh State University currently operates educational and production complexes and medical clinics,” emphasized Mayor Bakytbek Zhetigenov.

In the new 5-story educational and laboratory building in the "Ak-Buura" campus, there are educational laboratories, lecture halls, and a modern library. The building's area is 2008 square meters, with a total construction cost of 84 million soms.

Furthermore, "Ak-Buura" campus's extensive area was completely reconstructed. Asphalt was laid for a special bike path and one side of the square was completely landscaped.
