On the eve of Osh City Day, the opening ceremony of the educational-production veterinary clinic took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies of Osh State University.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Osh Mayor Bakytbek Zhetigenov, Rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, faculty members, and students of the university. Guests got acquainted with the state-of-the-art educational and laboratory facilities of the veterinary clinic.
The educational-production veterinary clinic spans across 5 floors and encompasses well-equipped educational laboratories and lecture halls. This structure boasts a footprint of 3000 square meters, financed through the university's own resources.
“As we approach Osh City Day, we are opening two new academic buildings at Osh State University. OshSU not only imparts knowledge but also contributes to the landscaping and overall social development of Osh City. We extend our services to the city's residents through our educational, production, and medical facilities. We are diligently working to create an environment where our recently opened veterinary clinic can provide veterinary hospital services to the city's residents,”- said Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov.
To bolster the material and technical infrastructure of the educational-production veterinary clinic, the university has furnished it with modern equipment, including ultrasound and X-ray machines, and advanced analysis devices. Furthermore, the clinic has secured a grant of $100,000 from the Ministry of Agriculture. These funds will be channeled towards the expansion of the veterinary clinic's facilities.
At present, construction is in progress for a seven-story medical clinic at Osh State University. This clinic is poised to replace the "Ak-Buura" health and rehabilitation center, and the aging city hospital in Osh City.
