OshSU students succeeded at the international sports tourism contest in Uzbekistan
From October 2nd to 8th, 2023, the “World Championship” in sports tourism took place in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan. The competition saw the participation of 36 teams from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, India, and Uzbekistan. The teams from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies at Osh State University, and Tourism specialty from the STEM Innovation College, took part in the competition. The teams secured 2nd place in relay and group games.
Additionally, a memorandum on the development of international tourism was signed with the tourism management of the Jizzakh region in Uzbekistan.
