Conference titled "Methodological Issues in the Research and Teaching of World History and the History of Kyrgyzstan"

Osh State University hosted a scientific and practical conference titled “Methodological Issues in the Research and Teaching of World History and the History of Kyrgyzstan.” The event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the distinguished historian, educator, and mentor Professor Zhumali Adilbaev.  

The conference attracted representatives from the Presidential Representative Office in Osh Oblast, the Osh City Administration, prominent public figures, scholars, educators, postgraduates, master's and PhD students.

The Rector of Osh State University Kudayberdi Kozhobekov extended warm congratulations to the jubilee and highlighted Zhumali Adilbaev's significant contributions to the advancement of Kyrgyz historical science and his dedication to nurturing the next generation of specialists.

The plenary session featured distinguished scholars and public figures who presented insightful topics, reflecting on Zhumali Adilbaev's scholarly and pedagogical legacy and addressing various contemporary issues within historical science.

In the second part of the forum, a series of sectional sessions continued, involving approximately 100 participants who delivered presentations and reports on diverse aspects of contemporary historical science.

Zhumali Adilbaev's academic journey began when he graduated with honors from Kyrgyz State University in 1970. Since 1992, he has been wholeheartedly contributing to Osh State University.

Throughout his career, he has been recognized with numerous accolades, including honorary diplomas from Osh State University, the Oblast Administration, and the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. Zhumali Adilbaev has also been awarded with badges such as “Excellence in Education of the Kyrgyz Republic” and “Distinguished Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.”
