Strengthening Academic Ties: Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov's Visit to Turkey and the International Serahsî Symposium
Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, during his working visit to Turkiye, met with students from Osh State University who are studying at Pamukkale University. Currently, as part of the academic mobility program, 14 students from Osh State University are studying at Pamukkale University, and 5 students are studying at Sivas Cumhuriyet University.
Moreover, the Rector of Osh State University participated and delivered a presentation in the International Serahsî Symposium organized by Pamukkale University's Institute of Islamic Sciences and the Faculty of Theology of Osh State University.
The symposium discussed the place of Serahsî's works in Islamic legal literature, comparison of Serahsî's legal understanding with contemporary legal concepts, Serahsî's perspective on international law and minority rights law, his contributions to family and criminal law, his role in the development of Islamic law, and a comparison of Serahsî's economic philosophy with contemporary economic concepts.
