Osh State University to Establish Central Asian Innovation Center in Collaboration with Nanjing Technological Institute

The delegation from Osh State University continued their working visit at the Nanjing Technological Institute in China.

Led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, representatives of Osh State University met with the leadership of the technological institute and signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement, in collaboration with Osh State University, the "Kyrgyz Una Kuruush" company, Nanjing Technological Institute, Nanjing Transport Institute, the Nanjing Zhuli Group, the Jizzakh State Technical University of Uzbekistan, and the representation of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan in the Jizzakh region, led to the establishment of the Central Asian Innovation Strategic Cooperation Center "Zhenghe".

The purpose of this center is to train technical specialists for production, primarily focusing on the Central Asian region. Under a comprehensive agreement, Osh State University will establish an institute to train bachelor's degree students in current fields of engineering and technology, including renewable energy sources, information and software engineering, and logistics.

Additionally, the delegation from Osh State University visited a student startup center and learned about successful projects in China. Since its inception, the center has launched over 230 startups.

The parties also discussed future cooperation with the center.
