In a bid to foster closer ties and collaborative efforts in academia, a delegation comprising teaching staff and students from the University of Economics and Pedagogy of Uzbekistan, led by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Bokhadirjon Muidinov, paid a visit to Osh State University.
Upon their arrival, the delegation engaged in constructive discussions with a team led by Vice-Rector for Investments and Economic Development Kubanych Totorov and Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov. Deliberations centered around enhancing the existing relationship between the two esteemed educational institutions and delving into the various initiatives outlined in their interdepartmental agreements.
As part of their itinerary, the visiting delegation participated in the science week organized by OshSU’s Faculty of World Languages and Cultures. Additionally, they seized the opportunity to convene meetings and exchange insights with professionals from the university’s Practice and Career Center, Pedagogical Faculty, and School Lyceum No. 18, named after Navoi, in Osh.
Highlighting the collaborative spirit, students from the University of Economics and Pedagogy are set to showcase their talents on an international platform by participating in the “Akyl Ordo” competition, themed “Creative, Competent Student”, under the discipline of Pedagogy. Moreover, faculty members from both institutions engaged in the exchange of knowledge through guest lectures.
This reciprocal exchange of educational prowess started March 27-29 this year by a recent visit from a delegation of professors and lecturers led by Vice-Rector Kubanych Totorov of OshSU to the University of Economics and Pedagogy of Uzbekistan. During this visit, fruitful agreements were reached, and lecturers delivered enlightening guest lectures spanning the fields of philology, pedagogy, and economics.
