Cooperation with Chinese universities is under way
A delegation from Northwest University of China arrived at Osh State University. The delegation includes heads of the Silk Road Institute, the Department of International Relations, the Institute of Economics, Management and Journalism of this university and PhD doctoral students from Kyrgyzstan. The guests met with the leadership of Osh State University, headed by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, and discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of academic mobility of lecturers and students, exchange of Chinese language lecturers and joint scientific research. They also exchanged views on close relationships in the 2+2, 3+1 programs and areas of journalism, medicine, computer science, and economics. During the meeting, proposals were made for joint educational programs and the training of highly professional specialists.
Earlier in February 2024, the Kyrgyz delegation led by the Minister of Education and Science D. Kendirbayeva, as part of a trip to China, visited Northwest University and discussed the issues of training specialists here in the areas of chemical engineering and archeology. At the same time, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between Osh State University and Northwestern University.
