Today, the Akun Turganbaev state school in Terek-Suu village, Kara-Kulzha district, hosted a forum-meeting with the Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Philology, Professor K.Z. Zulpukarov. The event, celebrating the 77th birthday of the scientist, saw attendance from local government representatives, village councils, the district education department, school directors, teachers, a group of Russian educators participating in the “Russian Teacher Abroad” program, local residents, students, and the professor’s close relatives.

Speakers at the event highlighted the significant and impactful life of Kapar Zulpukarov and his contributions to science and education. Students of the professor also presented thematic reports. The celebration featured concert performances by the students.

During the event, an alley showcasing notable regional figures in art, culture, literature, and education was inaugurated on the school premises.

Additionally, Russian teachers donated books to the school and conducted master classes and training sessions for the teachers. Outstanding students received valuable gifts.

This meeting with the esteemed scientist was part of the anniversary events marking the 85th anniversary of Osh State University, initiated by Nurmamat Turganbaev, the dean of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology at Osh State University.
