OshSU Hosted “Phygital Games I” E-Sports Tournament

In celebration of Osh State University’s 85th anniversary, the university hosted the first “Phygital Games” interuniversity e-sports tournament. The event featured two stages: the first stage was a football simulator game, and the second stage was played on a mini-football field. The tournament’s progress was broadcast live on the OshSU YouTube channel.

Eight teams, comprising students from Osh Technological University, Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, and OshSU, participated in the competition. The “Navi” team from Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University secured the first place, winning a cup, medals, and a prize of 15,000 soms. The “Madrid” team from OshSU’s Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies (IMPEIT) came in second, receiving 10,000 soms, while the “Medfak-3” team from OshSU’s Medical Faculty took third place, earning 5,000 soms.

The Phygital Games were organized by Osh State University’s IMPEIT Institute in collaboration with the Cyber Sports Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
