At the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies, a training session was held under the project “Increasing the Potential of Representatives of the Tourism Sector in the Osh Region.” Approximately 150 participants attended, including representatives from the tourism industry of the Osh region and the city of Osh, as well as lecturers, bachelor’s and master’s students from the faculty. They completed a 360-hour training program covering five areas of tourism: mountain and city guiding, cultural tourism, and gastronomic tourism.

The training also featured master classes on crafts, national values, and traditional clothing. Staff and students from the Department of Economic Geography, Network Economics, and Tourism established a platform and volunteer services to support the organizational work. The organizers recognized their efforts with a “Certificate” and a “Letter of Gratitude.”

The training was initiated by the Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan and financially supported by the ARIS organization and the World Bank.
