Awards Presented on the 85th Anniversary of OshSU

In celebration of the 85th anniversary, an award ceremony was hosted at the Osh State University. Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov presented various accolades, including badges, Certificates of Honor, Certificates of Merit, and monetary awards to faculty and staff who have significantly contributed to the institution’s growth in education, scientific research, and healthcare, and who have diligently served for many years. Additionally, badges and certificates from the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration, Osh Region, Osh City Hall, Osh City Council, and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers were awarded to deserving recipients by the Osh regional trade union committee in honor of the anniversary.

The rector expressed his appreciation to the academic community and the public for their contributions to Osh State University’s development over its 85-year history. He voiced confidence that the recognition would inspire the awardees to continue striving towards the high goals set by the university.

The ceremony included a concert program showcasing the talents of OshSU’s community. The anniversary celebrations will also feature the inaugural international business forum “Business, Education, Science and Government Interaction: Opportunities and Development Paths for Regions”, taking place in Osh on May 31.

On the evening of May 31, a grand show concert will be held at the Suyumbaev Central Stadium, featuring a theatrical performance and continuing with entertainment by Kyrgyz pop stars, in honor of Osh State University’s 85th anniversary.
