Akylbek Japarov, Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, delivered a guest lecture to students at Osh State University during his visit to the Osh region.

“On the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Education and Science developed a new format of the conceptual model of the development of the educational process “University 4.0”. It includes innovative approaches to university teaching, research and management. It is important that the university not only provides education, but also has a direct impact on the socio-economic and cultural development of the region where it is located,” he said.

He also elaborated on the collaboration between business, government, and science, stressing the link between science, education, and economics.

Additionally, Japarov held a meeting with school directors in Osh, where he provided detailed information on innovative educational technologies and the upbringing of future generations. He emphasized the need for students to be fluent in four languages, master an art, and be both patriotic and polite after graduating from school.

Japarov noted the increasing competition brought about by artificial intelligence in various fields, asserting that the future generation should be well-versed in technology.

He also discussed the ongoing economic reforms in the country, with a goal to raise the GDP to $30 billion by 2030, allocating 6-8 percent to the education sector. He expressed strong confidence in the dedication of education sector workers.
