The department heads who resigned were honored with awards
According to Osh State University’s internal disciplinary rules, department heads aged 65 and older voluntarily stepped down. Among those who resigned were Tugolbay Mamayev, Suyunaly Shatmanov, Abdizhalil Muratov, Mamatzhan Arstanbekov, Zamira Nuruyeva, Jamilya Umetova, Zhanyabay Mamazhakyp uulu, and Bakyt Matazov from Medical Faculty. Additionally, Turdumamat Bekeshov from the Institute of Business and Economics also completed his service.
In recognition of their many years of dedicated service and contributions to the development of OshSU, a ceremonial farewell was held on September 9. The event was attended by Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursant Attokurov and the Chairman of the Professional Association Absamat Sattarov.
Speakers at the ceremony praised the retiring department heads for their work at the university, encouraging them to continue using their knowledge and experience to train future professionals. They also highlighted that holding such ceremonies could serve as an inspiring example for the younger generation.
