Turkic-Speaking Countries Strengthen Medical Collaboration

Turkic-speaking nations are strengthening their collaboration in the medical field, as highlighted during the 1st Medical Congress held at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey, from September 4-8.

Among the attendees were four participants from Kyrgyzstan, including Associate Professor Gulzhamal Subanova from Osh State University’s Department of Clinical Disciplines No. 2 and Lecturer Erzamat Yrysbaev from the Department of General, Clinical Biochemistry, and Pathophysiology.

Subanova mentioned that a cooperation agreement was signed between the countries during the congress. She noted that the event, the first of its kind, aimed to connect medical professionals from Turkic-speaking countries, promote scientific discoveries, and foster mutual support. Yrysbaev presented a report at the event, with Subanova serving as moderator.

The second Medical Congress of Turkic-Speaking Countries is scheduled for 2025 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
