OshSU Celebrates Day of Older People with Special Event
Osh State University celebrated the Day of Older People today, October 1, with a special event at the “Oligarch” restaurant. Around 550 university veterans, including lecturera, staff, and retirees, gathered for the celebration.
Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, trade union committee chairman Absamat Sattarov, and former veterans council chairman Kapar Zulpukarov, who passed the leadership to the newly appointed chairman Orunbek Kalanov, delivered congratulatory speeches.
The event also featured a large concert program. This annual celebration, honoring veterans and elderly people, is organized by the rector’s office and the university’s trade union committee.
