Students from Osh State University’s Institute of Oriental Studies, currently continuing their studies in South Korea, took first place at a Spartakiad held in Daejeon, winning valuable prizes. Participants included students from the “Oriental Studies, African Studies” and “Linguistics” programs, who competed as a team in the tournament.
The competition, held on November 2, featured events in volleyball and football, with participation from international students studying in Korea.
At present, around 30 students from the Institute of Oriental Studies are pursuing studies in Korea. They are expected to complete their semester at universities such as Hanbat, Mokwon, Pai Chai, Ansan, Busan, Konkuk, Induk, Seowon, and Gyeongmin by the end of fall 2024.
