On November 18, a delegation led by Vice-Rector Quan Lixin of Xinjiang Arts University (China) visited Osh State University. During the visit, they met with OshSU Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov, and faculty members from the Department of Pedagogy, Art, and Journalism.
Quan Lixin emphasized that Xinjiang Arts University is one of the top educational institutions in China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, specializing in art, music, design, theater, and culture. The university offers a range of degree programs, from bachelor’s to master’s levels, and places significant importance on fostering international partnerships.
As part of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between OshSU and Xinjiang Arts University. This agreement outlines collaborative efforts in education, scientific research, art, and culture. It also includes initiatives for academic exchange and mobility, as well as opportunities for lecturers and students from both institutions to share knowledge and experiences.
