On December 4, Idris Kadyrkulov, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria, delivered an online guest lecture at Osh State University’s Institute of Oriental Studies.
The lecture, titled “Kyrgyz-Ukrainian Diplomatic Relations: History, Current State, and Future,” was attended virtually by students, postgraduate scholars, faculty members, and educators from Osh State University, Osh Technical University and the International University of Kyrgyzstan. The discussion highlighted the state of diplomatic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria, as well as the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict. A Q&A session followed the presentation.
The Institute of Oriental Studies frequently hosts guest lectures featuring Kyrgyz ambassadors abroad, offering students insights into the history, present dynamics, and prospects of the nation’s diplomatic relationships and its role in international politics.
