In celebration of Osh State University’s 85th anniversary, an inter-school medicine tournament was held, with the grand prize awarded to School-Gymnasium No. 3 named after M.V. Lomonosov in Osh. School No. 6 named after A.S. Makarenko claimed both first and second places, while the third place went to the team from “Gramotei” School.
The competition took place on December 23 at the university’s International Medical Faculty, featuring students from grades 9-11 representing six schools from Osh and Kara-Suu. Participants showcased their theoretical and practical expertise in subjects such as biology, chemistry, anatomy, and the fundamentals of medicine.
The event aimed to foster stronger ties between schools and the university, spark students’ interest in medical education, and enhance their academic knowledge.
