National STEM Training Initiative Boosts Teacher Qualifications across Kyrgyzstan

STEM courses aimed at enhancing teachers’ qualifications on a national scale are being organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and carried out by the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Personnel.

Methodologists from Osh State University play a key role in these courses. Kanybekova Nazgul, a mathematics teacher at the Bilim School-Lyceum of Osh State University, provides training to school teachers from Osh Oblast and Osh city in advanced educational methods and technologies. This training is part of an intensive four-day course totaling 72 hours of instruction. Currently, 80 trainers have been selected nationwide for this program.
