Youth center opened at Osh State University
The opening ceremony of the center of friendship, interethnic harmony and tolerance was held at Osh State University, which was attended by the head of the policy department of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Raimonds Vingris, rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, teachers and students.
The center, equipped with modern equipment worth 1.5 million soms, will become a kind of connecting bridge of cultural interaction in a virtual and real format.
The center makes it possible to conduct webinars, seminars and classes using digital technologies in online and offline formats. There are scheduled regional and international youth and teacher debates, discussion club sessions, forums and other youth activities.
The center was implemented within the framework of the project "Cross-border multilateral dialogue aimed at tolerance and peace in Central Asia", funded by the European Union jointly with the environmental movement "Biom" (Kyrgyzstan), the national movement "Yuxalish" (Uzbekistan), the public organization "Gender and Progress" ( Tajikistan".
