70th anniversary of the Faculty of World Languages ​​and Cultures

On October 29,  in honor of the anniversary, the University hosted an international scientific-practical conference "Innovations in Education".
 The conference participants were  Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France, Germany and the United States to Kyrgyzstan, guests online, guests from universities of the country, honorary graduates, faculty and students.
 Speaking at the ceremony, the rector of the university Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov congratulated the faculty and noted that the 70-year history of the faculty has trained the best specialists not only in our country but all over the world.
 The event featured a video presentation on the 70-year history of the faculty and an exhibition entitled "70 years of the Faculty of World Languages ​​and Cultures."
 Duishon Shamatov, a professor at Nazarbayev University, Parmod Kumar, an Indian scholar, and Jamol Jalalov, a professor at Tashkent State Pedagogical University, spoke at the plenary session on current educational innovations.  The conference continued in sectional work and a resolution was adopted.  The event was accompanied by a concert program of talented students of the faculty.
 The Faculty of World Languages ​​and Cultures currently trains teachers and translators in English, German, French and Korean.  Currently, the faculty is headed by Sabyrkul Kalygulova.
 The faculty cooperate with more than 50 foreign educational institutions and participates in various international programs.
