Graduation celebrations are not permitted
An order was issued by the Ministry of Education and Science to hold a solemn event dedicated to the presentation of documents on state education to graduates of educational organizations.
The decree states that solemn presentations of certificates for basic general education and secondary general education to graduates of general educational organizations, attended by representatives of local government, the parent community, and educational authorities, shall take place as follows:
- July 5, 2022 at 9.00 for graduates of grade 9
- July 7, 2022 at 9.00 for graduates of grade 11
Evening and nighttime graduation ceremonies are not permitted on school property, in amusement parks, or in other public areas.
There will be disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from their posts, for school principals, class teachers, and teachers who fail to take safety precautions and prevent student delinquency on the grounds of a general education organization.
