OshSU Launches Competitions among Lecturers
The Department of Teaching Quality and Methodological Support at Osh State University has announced several competitions for lecturers: “Modern Professor of OshSU – 2025”, “Modern Lecturer of OshSU – 2025”, “Pedagogical Debut – 2025”, and “Modern Master of SIW – 2025” (student’s independent work).
The first round will take place in November-December 2024, at the department, and faculty levels, under these categories:
- “Modern Professor of department (faculty) – 2025”
- “Modern Lecturer of department (faculty) – 2025”
- “Pedagogical Debut – 2025 (department, faculty)”
- “Modern Master of SIW of department (faculty) – 2025”
The organization and oversight of the competition are the responsibility of department and faculty heads, who will also establish an expert panel at the department level.
Duties and rights of the organizers include:
- Determining the competition’s format, guidelines, and criteria.
- Developing materials and evaluation standards for submissions.
- Selecting the members and setting the regulations for the expert panel.
- Promoting the competition on departmental social media and releasing informational materials.
- Assessing the contestants’ professional and creative skills.
- Winners will be selected through an open voting system based on points earned. The expert panel’s decision, signed by the chair, will be submitted to the EMC (educational and methodological complex) chair for approval.
Note: This competition is conducted according to OshSU’s regulations.
