Startups from Osh State University’s Business Park Secure 851 Thousand Soms in Grants

Two student startup projects from Osh State University, “G-Face” and “ZN Inclusive,” have been awarded a total grant of 851 thousand soms under the “Student Startup” program organized by the Ministry of Education and Science. The projects received 742 thousand soms and 109 thousand soms, respectively, with funding and implementation slated to begin in 2025.

The winners were announced on December 19 at the “Yntymak Ordo” Presidential Administration, under the leadership of Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. Osh State University students participated online, presenting their final projects during the session. Out of seven winning projects nationwide, two originated from Osh State University’s Business Park.

The winning projects are:

  • G-Face Technology – a computer control system operated through eye movements.
  • ZN Inclusive – a brand focused on designing and producing inclusive clothing.

The “Student Startup” program is supported by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Notably, in the program’s 2023 pilot edition, Osh State University students also secured funding. Their “Smart Fence” project won 638 thousand soms in that competition.
