The final stage of the “Live Classics – 2026” competition for school students was held at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication. On March 27, participants performed excerpts from Russian prose, showcasing their reading and acting skills. A jury of institute lecturers evaluated the performances, considering reading quality, performance skills, and the ability to convey the character.
Winners received certificates, and outstanding readers were awarded in special categories such as “emotional impact,” “technical skill,” and “best performance of a classic.” Organizers noted that the event strengthens cooperation between schools and universities, encourages reading, and supports talented youth. The competition was organized by the institute’s World Literature Department and Russian teachers participating in the international humanitarian project “Russian Teacher Abroad.”
