Pietro Pontecorvo gave a lecture at the Oriental Studies Institute
On March 30, Pietro Pontecorvo, researcher at the University of Bologna and Central Asia expert, gave an online guest lecture at the Institute of Oriental Studies. Students, graduate and doctoral students, and faculty attended.
His lecture on “Diplomatic Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Italy” covered the development of diplomatic ties, cultural and scientific cooperation, and current issues. Participants asked questions, and the institute’s director, Joldoshbek Bötöneev, expressed gratitude to the lecturer.
