An international educational and dialogue program titled "Young Border Peacebuilders Initiative" was held in Fergana, Uzbekistan, from June 22 to 25.

The program aimed to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the Fergana Valley, build mutual trust among young people, and promote regional partnership. Active young people aged 18–28 from the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as from border areas of Uzbekistan, participated in the forum. Among them were students of Osh State University.

During the four-day event, participants discussed peacebuilding, youth diplomacy, leadership, regional cooperation, and interaction in border areas while exchanging experiences. They also developed proposals for implementing joint initiatives.

The event was organized by the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan, and the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA).
