OshSU Lecturer Meets Students Studying in South Korea
The head of the Korean Language and Culture Center at the Institute of Oriental Studies and lecturer at the Department of Oriental Studies, Kymbat Kamaeva, met with Osh State University students and graduate students studying in South Korea under academic mobility programs and learned about their studies and living conditions.
Her visit lasted from August 20 to September 8. During her trip, Kamaeva visited Hanbat National University, Mokwon University, Konkuk University, Pai Chai University, Chung Cheong University, Ansan University, and other higher education institutions.
In addition, she completed a two-week professional development course in Korean at Hanbat National University. During the course, she learned about modern methods of teaching Korean and enhanced her pedagogical skills. She also held meetings with representatives of South Korean universities, where they discussed expanding academic mobility opportunities for students and strengthening cooperation in education.
For reference: OshSU currently has cooperation agreements with more than 20 higher education institutions in South Korea. Under these agreements, more than 20 OshSU students and graduate students are currently studying and gaining experience in South Korea.
