In a meeting with Osh State University Rector Kudaiberdi Kojobekov, Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar discussed methods to improve their mutual cooperation.

He got acquainted with the academic environments developed in the OshSU campus in Ak-Buura, where located instructional and research facilities and a Medical clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and the International Faculty of Medicine. Additionally, he received details about the academic mobility programs, the digital learning environment, and the transparency policy at OshSU.

Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar praised Osh State University’s excellent organizational capabilities in the medical field, particularly the growth of the cytology lab. He was grateful that OshSU had integrated its “Dimedius” cutting-edge digital interdisciplinary clinic into the teaching process. “These technologies have helped OshSU to get successfully accredited from Indian medical boards. As a former expert of the Medical Council of India, I make a pledge to write a positive review of what I observed within the walls of OshSU to my colleagues in India,” stated Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar.

The meeting’s agenda included discussions on teacher preparation programs and the drafting of contracts for collaboration in the fields of research and education.

Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar is the President of the Oncology Society of India, Editor of the journal “Medical Pediatric Oncology”, Chairman of the Internal Affairs Committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
