Higher salaries are paid to government employees
As part of the execution of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic's Decree "On the Conditions for Remuneration of Civil Servants and Municipal Employees of the Kyrgyz Republic," more than 58 thousand workers in the government sector have earned raises in pay since August 1, 2022.
The republican budget allots more than 7 billion soms for these uses. In 2022, a government worker will earn an average salary of 47,953 soms compared to 22,879 soms in 2021.
