Osh State University delegation visited Al Farabi Kazakh National University
A delegation consisting of the OshSU President Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, vice-rector for investment and development affairs Kubanychbek Toktorov, educational department head Ibragim Atabaev, and IT Academy head Aytibek Abdirasulov visited Al Farabi Kazakh National University. The delegation got acquainted with the Al Farabi Museum, Keremet Service Center, the material-technical base of the university, and visited the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Higher School of Economics and Business.
Along with it, the Osh State University team was given detailed information about the IT infrastructure and educational programs of KNU. Then, the OshSU delegation met with the KNU rector Zhanseyit Tuymenbaev who provided some information on the university activities.
The sides discussed cooperation issues in the field of academic mobility programs, implementation of joint educational programs, and exchange of experience.
Currently, over 100 lecturers from 30 countries work at Kazakh National University. The KNU branch opened in Bishkek and Istanbul. Kazakh National University expands cooperation with Central Asian universities. Today the university has collaboration agreements with more than 30 universities of Central Asia, among them 12 universities in Kyrgyzstan.
