Cooperation with Beijing Normal University
A delegation of lecturers and students, led by the head of the Center for Youth Design and Innovation at Beijing Normal University in China, Li Xunjun, visited Osh State University. The delegation arrived as part of an exchange project for lecturers and students in the field of design between Beijing Normal University and five universities in Kyrgyzstan.
The guests met with the rector of OshSU, Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, the vice-rector for educational work, Nurlan Omurov, the vice-rector for social affairs and youth policy, Nurzhamal Mapaeva, and the lecturers of the Faculty of Arts to discuss further cooperation.
As a result of the visit, a bilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between Beijing Normal University and Osh State University. According to the memorandum, one lecturer and one student from the Faculty of Arts at OshSU will visit China next year and participate in a special event. Additionally, they will engage in online activities as part of the exchange project for lecturers and students in the field of design between Beijing Normal University and five universities in Kyrgyzstan.
Moreover, special concert programs and a tour around the OshSU campus were organized for the guests. The delegation representatives conducted special masterclasses for students majoring in design.
