A festival “Osh State University Unites Nations” was conducted at the university, and it was attended by the Consuls of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in Osh, A. Abdurashidov and M. Karibay, the Chairman of the Osh Branch of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, B. Nurumbetov, the Attaché of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions, V. Saypidinov, the Vice-Rector for External Relations of Osh State University, K. Attokurov, the Vice-Rector for Student Community Affairs, N. Mapaeva, leaders of Osh State University departments, students, lecturers, and the city residents.

At the event, representatives from 10 different countries, including Spain, India, Uzbekistan, Japan, Russia, Pakistan, South Korea, Tajikistan, China, and Kyrgyzstan who are studying and working at Osh State University, presented their national clothing, food, and traditions.

As part of the festival, a competition of the best exhibits was organized. The winners and active participants were determined by a committee consisting of special experts. The winners and participants received letters of gratitude from the Chairman of the Osh Branch of the Association of Kyrgyz Peoples and cash prizes from the trade union committee of Osh State University.

The event was held with the aim of showcasing the diversity of cultural traditions of the world's nations, engaging university students in the creativity of different nations, and promoting national cultures.

The organizer of the festival was the Department for Foreign Citizens Affairs and Consular Services of Osh State University.
