The Osh State University student won a silver medal at the Asian Championship
Gulshanai Satarova, a master’s student at Osh State University and a member of the national track and field team, clinched a silver medal at the Asian Championship held within the context of the international marathon in Hong Kong.
Covering a distance of 42,195 meters in a time of 2 hours and 36.32 minutes, the athlete demonstrated an impressive performance.
As a graduate student, Gulshanai Satarova holds the title of Asian champion and has triumphed in numerous international competitions. In 2023, she achieved first place at the team championship of Asia in the half-marathon held in Dubai, UAE, securing a well-deserved gold medal.
Gulshanai Satarova stands as one of the 15 athletes from Kyrgyzstan diligently preparing for the upcoming Olympic Games.
