Osh State University is a Source of Knowledge and a Door of Opportunity for Me
My name is Nurzhan Ermekbaeva, and I am currently a fourth-year student at the Institute of Oriental Studies at Osh State University. Choosing my profession was not difficult for me, as I have had a strong interest in the humanities since my school days. That's why I decided to enroll in Osh State University in advance, as it is known to be one of the best educational institutions not only in Osh but also in Kyrgyzstan.
When I became a student, the professors introduced me to many opportunities at the Institute of Oriental Studies, including the academic mobility program. Therefore, I made an effort, and my efforts were not in vain: I went to Mokwon University in Korea for academic mobility.
During my first visit to Korea, I was amazed by the education system because here every student independently regulates the education process, has the opportunity to choose any courses, and the conditions created for students are very high.
During my studies here, I participated in the “Unity Volunteering” program and taught Korean and English language online to children with disabilities. Thanks to this, I had a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in teaching and language learning.
Osh State University is a source of knowledge and a door of opportunity for me. I am very proud to study at the Institute of Oriental Studies at Osh State University. At the Institute of Oriental Studies, we study Korean and English languages, history, literature, political situation, and state structure of countries.
I sincerely congratulate Osh State University on its 85th anniversary! I wish our university, with its almost century-old history, to continue providing quality education, expanding ties with world-famous universities, creating more opportunities for students, and becoming one of the best universities in the world!
