Moscow State University played host to the prestigious international forum titled “Universities and the Future”. Drawing together members of the Eurasian Universities Association, the largest and most esteemed university consortium in the Eurasian region, alongside delegations from universities in the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam, and Arab nations, the event proved to be a nexus of academic exchange and collaboration.
Among the distinguished attendees was Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the rector of Osh State University, who delivered a compelling presentation on “International Cooperation among Universities in the Context of Regional Integration in the Eurasian Space”.
Reflecting on OshSU’s increased partnership with Eurasian universities following the 15th Congress of the Association, Rector Kozhobekov highlighted the university’s commitment to enhancing educational quality, advancing research endeavors, and fostering international integration. He emphasized OshSU’s innovative approach, which aligns education, research, industry, and commercialization efforts to address socio-economic challenges at the local, regional, and national levels.
“The forum serves as a vital platform for bridging the gap between academia and research spheres in our countries, creating a unified integrated educational space, and consolidating the higher education systems across Eurasian nations”, remarked Rector Kozhobekov.
The forum provided a platform for discussing pressing issues and future prospects of collaboration in education and university-based research within the Eurasian context.
