Held in Bishkek on November 13-14, the Eco Hackathon was part of UNICEF’s Girls in Science project. It brought together student teams from 17 Kyrgyz universities to showcase innovative green and digital startups addressing environmental challenges.
As part of the event, the most promising initiatives from Enactus teams were highlighted, with seven of them securing $1,000 grants from UNICEF to support their startups. Among the winners, the Enactus OshSU team earned funding for their Eco Tube project.
This achievement follows their success at the Eco Hackathon 2023, where they also won a $1,000 grant for their ReTire project.
