The event was attended by OshSU Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Chairman of the Professional Association Absamat Sattarov, and Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov.

The week-long competition brought together first-year students, who competed in eight sports: volleyball, futsal, basketball, athletics, chess, table tennis, toguz korgool and ordo. The team from the Institute of Economics, Business, and Management claimed first place, followed by the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies in second. Third place went to the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology. Winners were recognized with diplomas, trophies, and cash prizes.

During the award ceremony, Rector Kozhobekov emphasized that the Spartakiad was organized to promote sports among students, improve their health, foster camaraderie, and identify talented athletes for the university’s team. He highlighted the important role these athletes play in representing OshSU at the Universiade and national competitions. The rector reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting top-performing athletes both financially and morally.
