An international scientific and practical conference on geodesy and cartography took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on December 6-7. Hosted at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, the event was themed “Current State and Development Prospects of Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre in Uzbekistan.”
The conference also marked the 85th anniversary of Hamidkhon Muborakov, a candidate of technical sciences and associate professor.
Dinara Abjaparova, an associate professor in the Department of Agronomy and Applied Geodesy at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies of Osh State University, contributed to the discussions by sharing her expertise in geodesy, cartography, geoinformation systems, and remote sensing. The conference explored the latest trends and innovations in these fields, focusing on geoinformation systems and Earth remote sensing technologies.
