The “vit’oss” team, composed of medical students from Osh State University’s Faculty of Medicine, achieved first place at the International Olympiad hosted by Novosibirsk State University.
The competition focused on surgery and morphology, with 10 teams participating. Contestants performed laparoscopic procedures on animal organs. The OshSU team received guidance and preparation from Taalaibek Seyitbekov, head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Radiology, and instructor Bektur Erkinali uulu.
Held from December 4 to 6, the Olympiad was part of the III International Forum “Morphology and Surgery,” under the theme “Morphological Sciences: The Foundation of Medicine.”
