The Department of Social Affairs at the Institute of Economics, Business and Management of Osh State University organized a festive celebration for Pamir Kyrgyz children in Taldy-Suu village, located in the Alai district, in honor of Children's Day.
As part of the event, university faculty conducted a master class titled "Modern Inclusive Skills" for the local community. They engaged with residents to learn about their living conditions, current challenges, and future aspirations, fostering an open exchange of ideas.
Members of the “Society” volunteer club also played an active role in the event’s organization, including carrying out fundraising initiatives. The funds raised were used to purchase and present holiday gifts to the children.
The visit aimed to highlight the social involvement of students and faculty, as well as support the integration of ethnic Kyrgyz from the Pamir region into broader society.
Currently, 96 Pamir Kyrgyz reside alongside the local population in the newly established Pamir-Alai village. According to village head Vrachbek Kadyrov, the newcomers and locals have quickly established good relations and live in harmony. The government has ensured necessary living conditions, and young people are pursuing education and vocational training.
