Student Spartakiad Kicks Off at Osh State University

On October 6, the Student Spartakiad among first-year undergraduate students officially began at Osh State University.

During the opening ceremony, Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov welcomed the participants, wished them success, and spoke about the conditions and opportunities created at the university to support students' overall development.

The competitions will take place from October 6 to 14 at the university's sports facilities. Students will compete in the following sports: volleyball, track and field, mini-football, basketball, ordo, table tennis, toguz korgool and chess.

Winners and top-performing athletes and teams will be awarded prizes and certificates.

The Spartakiad is held annually and aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and foster friendship and team spirit, especially among first-year students.
