With respect to mentors
On October 7 Osh State University celebrated Senior Citizens' Day. Veterans, experienced teachers, and mentors were invited to the evening event.
The guests were greeted by Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Rector of Osh State University. He noted the role and place of mentors in educating young people, training young specialists, and developing the university. The head of the university awarded Adylbek Batyraliyev with a certificate of honor from the Jogorku Kenesh for his many years of fruitful work. The university's trade union committee awarded each pensioner a cash bonus.
The evening was accompanied by a large concert program.
More than 450 veterans took part in the festive event. The event was organized on the initiative of Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov and timed to coincide with International Day of Older Persons on October 1.
In general, the university provides comprehensive support to veterans, including financial assistance and special discounted vouchers for recreation and health improvement.
