Representatives of Osh State University Take Part in the Final Conference of the DEFA Project
The final conference of the DEFA CBHE Project “Development of Financial Autonomy of Universities in Kyrgyzstan” is taking place at the Ishak Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University in Bishkek.
Osh State University is represented by Roman Kalmatov, Dean of the International Medical Faculty and project coordinator, and Maksat Totobaev, Head of the University Ranking Department.
During the meeting, partner universities participating in the project will deliver presentations and share their experiences in implementing financial autonomy within their educational processes and management systems. A training session will also be held to ensure the sustainability of the project. In addition, financial reports from partner universities in Kyrgyzstan, Italy, and Germany will be discussed.
The event will conclude tomorrow, November 13, with workshops on strategic planning and a final meeting of project coordinators.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Erasmus+ Program. The conference is organized to discuss the outcomes of the project and to develop sustainable mechanisms for advancing the financial autonomy of universities.
