Student Research Seminar on the Works of Chyngyz Aitmatov

On December 23, Osh State University hosted a student research seminar dedicated to the works of the great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.

The seminar was conducted in Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, Russian, and English, ensuring broad participation among students.

During the event, participants presented research papers on the linguistic features of Aitmatov’s works, mythology and symbolism, innovative teaching methods, translation of his works into world languages, as well as historical and philosophical aspects of his literary heritage.

The seminar took place at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication and brought together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members, and academic advisors from Osh State University and other higher education institutions. At the end of the seminar, the presented papers were discussed, and certificates were awarded to all participants.

The event was organized by the Uzbek Language and Culture Center and the Kazakh Language and Culture Center of Osh State University. The seminar aimed to develop the creative and research potential of young scholars and to explore the legacy of Chyngyz Aitmatov from a modern academic perspective.
