Our Student Wins Prize at Kyrgyz Boxing Championship
Bermet Omurbakieva, a student of the Higher School of International Educational Programs at Osh State University, won a prize at the Kyrgyz Republic Boxing Championship.
Competing in the 52 kg weight category, she claimed third place.
The championship took place in Bishkek from December 15 to 22 among girls born in 2008–2009. During the tournament, Bermet Omurbakieva defeated two opponents from Bishkek and the Issyk-Kul region.
Bermet Omurbakieva is a two-time champion of the Kyrgyz Republic, a participant in the Asian Championship, and a Candidate for Master of Sport in boxing. She has been training in boxing for five years.
According to her coaches, her achievement is the result of consistent training, perseverance, and strong determination.
